Duck Tail

• Duck tail generates a rectification effect on the upper surface of the body at high speeds, and together with the rectification effect on the lower surface of the body, improves the downforce. This improves the traction and the driving stability.

• Using advanced HKS aerodynamic technology, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis was performed on the stock Civic Type R to determine the optimal aero part design.

• Aerodynamic balance and mounting strength of the four components—front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, and ducktail—were thoroughly validated.
