The R TYPE is designed for sports driving on the circuit, and is compatible with vehicles equipped with turbines that replace the factory model, as well as wastegate-type turbines with large airflow. It draws out turbo power regardless of the RPM range, whether it's coming out of a corner or accelerating on a straight line. It
is also approximately 25% lighter than conventional products of the same size (compared to our previous products).
*R Type AL is a type with aluminum piping with a mirror buff finish.
(1) Inner fin (triangular straight type)
The inner fin is a straight triangular type that smooths the air flow and reduces pressure loss.
(2) Outer fin (triangular louver type)
Like the S TYPE, the outer fin uses a triangular louver type.
R type intercooler kit V system
The "R-type Intercooler Kit V System" was specially designed for the FD3S RX-7 to install the 500PS large-capacity intercooler core and radiator in a V-shape. It maximizes the use of cooling air on the street, circuit, and drifting, achieving unprecedented driving performance.
