The Uniden R8NZ HAS BEEN UPGRADED FOR 2025 to incorporate the NZ Speed & Average Speed Camera Database
and also been customised for the New Acusensus Speed Camera Vans . Also with Software Developed for Uniden NZ to
enhance detection of the existing Low Powered Redflex Cameras used in NZ – Perfect just got better.

Its dual antenna allows the R8-NZ to detect threats from all 4 directions, with voice alerts for the direction of threat. It even shows the direction, band, and signal strength for each. It has a new Auto Mute Memory feature, which automatically locks out false alert locations.  It also has the best in class K Band filter on the market, offering the least amount of false alerts from blind spot monitors and K Band sensors in other vehicles.
